Description
Our mission is to preserve, protect and enhance the special qualities and outstanding resources of the Westfield River Watershed in concert with local communities.
Information
The Westfield River flows about 5 miles through Windsor, providing the (dammed) swimming center at the Windsor State Forest and the tiny undammed simming hole sometimes known as the "chalk pond" along River Road. A committee helps to conserve the river, and some Windsor representatives help the committee.
