Select Board members are elected 3 year terms. The chair is selected by the board.
Description
The Select Board is responsible for implementing the town's plan. They are responsible for appointing and overseeing many of the committees, and hiring and managing most of the town staff. They have frequent public meetings where much of the work is done and decisions are made.
